July 8 - 12
A Week of Maker Faire
Where YOU are the maker. Be a Cosplay designer, a robot builder, an instrument manufacturer, a structural architect, and a moving machine creator.
July 22-26
Superheroes Scream STEAM
Design your heroes and let’s see their super powers soar.
Some of our Super Heroes are in trouble and need some help to fight crime and save the day! They know that as engineers, you have just the skills they need to get the job done. Everyday is a new adventure like Catch the Villain, Bridge to Safety!, Mighty Power Boost Catapult, Mighty Mobile, Spidey Spins a Web day!
August 5 - 9
Make + Play For all toy inventors, game-players, doll + stuffie lovers!
This one is for you. Come create things you can actually play with. We’ll sculpt, draw, stuff, and print all sorts of toys and games that can be enjoyed long after camp. Try felting your own fuzzy friend, building a bed for your favorite doll, and designing your own game set in clay!
August 12 - 16
Green’s the Way to Go
Let’s learn to “go green” with rain gardens, native plants, and cool structures to attract wildlife.
August 19 - 23
Project Planet: The Art of Re-imagining A bottle cap is not just a bottle cap
It’s an alligator eye, a game piece, a car wheel. And a cereal box is not just a cereal box, it’s a fairy home, shadow box, and treasure keeper. We’ll mash up recyclables and more traditional art materials as you expand your imagination, rethink things that would ordinarily be tossed aside, and create splendid objets d’art from objet's d’junk.
August 26 - 30
Power Up the Planet
Create some electric excitement with squishy circuits, waterwheels, wind turbines, solar generators, and chemical reactions.
Age: K – Grade 5
Cost: $325/week/child (discounts available, see discount section)
includes a nut and allergy free snack.
Time: 9 - 12 pm. Drop off beginning at 8:30 am.
