Cost Long Island Explorium admission is $6 per child, $8 per adult, Long Island Explorium members and children under 1 are free.

Step back in time for a festive afternoon at the Long Island Explorium! Enjoy popcorn and hot cocoa as you explore our holiday-themed activities. Take a Victorian-inspired family photo on our green screen, and discover hands-on ways to experiment with motion and simple machines through our gear activity. Gears were a key part of Victorian engineering, used in clocks, toys, and machinery—giving you a chance to explore the same principles that powered the inventions of the 19th century. Fun for all ages and perfect for the whole family!

No reservations are necessary, but space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to arrive early to make the most of your festival experience!
Our current General Hours are:
Saturday and Sunday: 1 PM – 5 PM
School Year Hours in effect starting September 2nd, 2025
