The Long Island Explorium is excited to bring its hands on STEM programming to Harbor Country Day School for our 2026 February Intersession Camp designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
Throughout the week, campers will engage in interactive STEM activities led by experienced and passionate educators, with a focus on problem solving, teamwork, and real world applications of science and engineering.
At the Long Island Explorium, we believe in nurturing the next generation of thinkers, innovators, and creators. Our summer camps offer a diverse range of activities tailored to different age groups and interests, from scientific research to coding and robotics, medical exploration, and STEAM adventures.

Long Island Explorium February Camp
DATES, TIMES, LOCATION:
- Dates: February 16–20
- Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Location: Harbor Country Day School
- Extended Care Options:
• Morning care available beginning at 8:00 AM
• Aftercare available until 5:00 PM
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Grades: Pre K3 through Grade 8

- Instructors: Our camps are designed by certified teachers and taught by highly-trained educators.
What Campers Will Do
Camp activities are designed to be engaging, age appropriate, and rooted in hands on exploration.
Activities include:
- Hands on STEM experiments
- Problem solving challenges
- Creative engineering projects
- Collaborative teamwork activities
- Interactive demonstrations
- Real world STEM applications and exposure to STEM careers

The Long Island Explorium is hosting this February Intersession STEM Camp at the campus of Harbor Country Day School, an educational institution in the Head of the Harbor, New York
Founded in 2005, the Long Island Explorium is committed to the development of programs and exhibits deeply rooted in research and evidence-based practice. Our programs are aligned with NYSSLS, ELA, Math and Social Studies Standards.
These events are organized by the Long Island Explorium, and provided free of charge in our support of children and STEM enrichment.
