 First Mondays: Preschool & Homeschool Families Welcome – October 6th, 2025

Kick off each month with a special STEM-filled morning designed for preschool-aged children and homeschool families at the Long Island Explorium!

From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, enjoy private access to our interactive exhibits and engage in a new self-guided activity each month, thoughtfully crafted to align with state and national science learning standards.

This program offers a fun and educational setting where young learners can dive into science, technology, engineering, and math while connecting with other families.

Who it’s for: Suggested grade range for the guided activity is Pre-K–3. Younger and older siblings are welcome to attend as well.

Pricing:

• $20 per child (includes one accompanying adult)
• $10 each additional child

Capacity & Minimum: Maximum 20 children. Program requires a minimum of 6 children to run.

Registration & Walk-ins:

• Pre-registration recommended; first-come, first-served.
• Registration closes at 5:00 PM on the Sunday before the event.
• Walk-ins welcome only if space is available.
• If the minimum attendance is not met by 10:30 AM on event day, the session may be canceled (see Policies below).

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made 5 business days to start of workshop to receive a 1time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of workshop. All workshops will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached

Program dates/times are subject to change. Enrollment minimums must be met in order for the program to run. In the event that program minimums are not met, participants will be given the option for full refund, credit, or enrollment in rescheduled events.
