Free outdoor workshop by Gallery North: Piecing it all Together, May 29th
Join us outside the museum for a free workshop by our dear friends at Gallery North! In this activity, we will be creating recycled found object sculptures, inspired by the work of Joseph Cornell. Cornell loved collecting what would normally be tossed in the trash and turn it into little windows into worlds he could visually visit, and we are very excited to create our own.
Masks are required for all visitors during their visit unless deemed medically unable to wear one. We can provide a face shield for all those who request one instead of wearing a mask.
Complete your COVID-19 Survey before entering the building for every visit: https://chkmkt.com/LIExplorium
If you would like to book private use of the Explorium at other times than currently scheduled, please contact Katie Pitt at katie@longislandexplorium.org.
