Maker Faire Long Island Returns for 6th Edition on June 3rd, 2023
Long Island, NY - Maker Faire Long Island is set to return for its 6th edition on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at the Long Island Explorium in Port Jefferson. The event, which is part of the larger Maker Faire network, celebrates creativity and innovation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Last year's Maker Faire Long Island featured over 80 makers and attracted more than 2000 participants from around the country. Attendees were able to explore cutting-edge exhibits and performances, including robots, interactive art, and virtual reality experiences.
This year's event promises to be even bigger and better, with new and exciting exhibits and performances, including a demonstration in blacksmithing techniques and the return of the popular Saber Guild Endor temple. In addition, we are thrilled to announce that we will be featuring new exciting makers and exhibits that will be sure to capture the imagination of attendees.
"Maker Faire Long Island is a unique event that brings together makers and innovators from all around the country," said Angeline Judex, Executive Director of the Long Island Explorium. "We're excited to announce the addition of new exciting makers and exhibits that will showcase the latest and greatest in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. This event is a celebration of creativity and innovation, and we hope that attendees will leave feeling inspired and motivated to pursue their own creative projects."
