Maker Faire Long Island Returns for 6th Edition on June 3rd, 2023

LONG ISLAND, NY – Maker Faire Long Island is excited to announce its return for the 7th edition on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at the Long Island Explorium in Port Jefferson. Part of the global Maker Faire network, this event continues to celebrate the vibrant intersection of creativity and innovation across science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).

Last year’s Maker Faire Long Island showcased a dynamic range of over 80 makers and attracted thousands of attendees from across the nation. The faire featured an array of interactive exhibits, from large-scale kinetic sculptures to immersive virtual reality experiences.

This year's edition promises to elevate these experiences even further with new exhibits and more engaging performances. Noteworthy returning exhibits include "The Royal Trumpets" by Adam Foster and innovative projects by FIRST Long Island Robotics. We are also excited to welcome new participants such as Upsculpt, whose environmentally conscious artworks from marine debris have garnered widespread acclaim.
