Noon Year's Eve - Countdown to Noon Celebration

 

Experience the Magic of a Morning New Year's Celebration!
Kick off the New Year with a joyful morning celebration at the Long Island Explorium. There is no need to stay up until midnight when you can ring in the New Year early at our Noon Year’s Eve Countdown. This special event invites children in Pre K through Fifth Grade and their parent or guardian to enjoy a creative, hands on, and unforgettable New Year’s experience.

What to Expect:

  • Party Poppers and Noisemakers
    Children will design and build their own party poppers and noisemakers using colorful materials. This hands on activity encourages imagination and creativity. When the clock strikes noon, everyone can celebrate with an exciting pop and cheer.

  • Play Time
    After crafting, families will enjoy private access to the Explorium exhibits. The museum will be closed to the public and open only to Noon Year’s Eve participants to create a relaxed and engaging play experience.

  • Pizza and Mocktails
    Enjoy a pizza party with your child, then mix up a sparkling mocktail together. We will raise our glasses before the countdown and celebrate the New Year with energy and smiles.

Event Details

  • Date: Wednesday, December 31st, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Ages: Pre-K-5 with ONE parent/guardian
  • Who It Is For:
    Grades Pre K through 5 with one parent or guardian. A parent, guardian, or caregiver must remain present for the entire program.

Registration Details::

  • Cost: $50 per pair, includes pizza and drinks.
    Additional child may be added at $25. 
    Maximum of 15 pairs (one child and one adult)
  • Includes: Pizza, drinks, and all crafting materials.
  • Registration required; please provide the names of both the child and the attending adult.
