Long Island Explorium presents The Resilience Project

Art and Science capturing OUR Resilient spirit
Exhibition & STEAM Activities

Visit for more information:

Book your private 45-minute timed session at the Long Island Explorium for up to 6 people (including adults) and have the museum all to yourself!

For 8 weeks, the Explorium will be home to works of art inspired by nature and science. As we move forward as a community, this “exhibition” serves as a reminder that we are resilient in the face of challenges. Nature grows and survives. Science pushes the boundaries of what is possible. We too will grow, survive and push through challenges.

Come enjoy the art exhibits by locally and nationally renowned artists. All artworks will be on display in the museum. Each week, we will have a featured artist and interactive STEAM activity for all visitors

Book our beautiful historical museum for a private family group of up to six people. Our families have loved having the run of the space and the one-to-one, personalized experience with our incredible educators. Enjoy some of our exhibits that can be brought out for our smaller private sessions that you may not have seen before during normal public hours. Come and learn some new skills in our relaxed, friendly environment.

We have revamped our exhibits to consider the health and safety of our staff and visitors. To comply with the increased sanitation and hygiene standards, we will not be allowing any food or drinks in the Explorium, except for water bottles. Masks are required for all visitors during their visit unless deemed medically unable to wear one. We will provide a face shield for all those who request one instead of wearing a mask.

Complete your COVID-19 Survey before entering the building for every visit:
