Calling all Girl Scouts! Join us at the Long Island Explorium for a special evening of hands-on STEM discovery designed just for scouts.
Whether attending with your troop or individually, scouts will experience an engaging, supportive environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

Engineers in the Making!
For Girl Scout Daisies & Brownies
Get ready to build, design, and race! In this hands-on workshop, Girl Scouts will step into the world of mechanical engineering as they create and test model or race cars. Through creativity and teamwork, they will explore the principles of design and motion while discovering how engineering shapes the world around us.
This session in our STEM Scouts: Girl Scout Badge Quest series encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation—all through the fun of making and testing their own creations.
Scouts will:
- Learn basic engineering concepts through play and experimentation
- Design, build, and test model or race cars
- Strengthen creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Explore real-world careers in mechanical and automotive engineering
- Complete activities that meet badge requirements

Cancellations must be made 5 business days to start of workshop to receive a 1 time credit for future bookings or registrations. No refunds will be provided. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the start of workshop. All workshops will run, subject to a minimum number of participants reached
